Nearby beaches

There are two small beaches within walking distance. Polstreath is on the northern outskirts of the village and is reached via steps from the South West Coastal Path. Portmellon can be reached by road, following Polkirt Hill southwards out of Mevagissey.

Two larger beaches are a short drive away. Pentewan is on the road to St Austell and Vault Bay is located on the south side of Gorran Haven.

There are many other beaches and coves within easy driving distance.
